The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law on Amendments to Clause 29 of the Law of Ukraine "On the Military Duty and Military Service"

Pursuant to the Law, the term and conduction of the training period of subjects to military service and reservists are defined by the General Staff of Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations according to this law.

The Law authorizes the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to fix annually the number of the persons subject to military service that shall be attracted to the trainings at the expense of the budgetary appropriations for defence.

Relevant Law is registered under Reg. No. 3644
